I will make a video with images showing the diversity in RCHS and how they interact with each other.
3. What additional resources will you need for your project (props, equipment, scanned images, etc.)?
I will just need people to act normal and interact with their friends.

U2A3b
Today I was only able to put most of my information into my brochure. I still need to start creating my poster and finish my website.

U2A3a
Progress: As of today I was able to begin on my brochure and website.
I got started on choosing the colours and font for my brochure, and I started working on the front and back covers of the brochure. I will not be using the current picture, it is only temporary. Instead I will bring pictures taken by me. I also have yet to add information from my research.
I have also started creating a website, and I am currently working on setting it up. Information will be added on March 19th.

A6- Website Planning
- The look/feel of the site will be serious and informative. The colours would be black and white to make it look serious. The style such as the font and how the website will look overall will be serious, but modern as well. The emotion associated with it will be dramatic and serious.
- For the navigation bars I will have a home tab that will summarize the main idea of the website is, a "why?" tab that will explain why photographer's rights is an issue that must be resolved, and a solution tab that will include my end-product and how it works.
- My research and future essay will be under the "why?" tab in order to support my claim, and the helpful links and supporting video or animation would be under my solution tab.
- Weebly or hand code (whichever I can work with best)
- I will probably also provide an electronic copy of a brochure to present everything in a simple way.

Assignment 5
My capstone will include a published book, and it will serve
as my explanatory model in order to help improve the issue with photographer’s
rights.
I will be using a
cardboard as a poster that can stand by itself in order to present the issues,
facts, examples, and information about my solution (what it is, how it works,
and how it will improve the issue with photographer’s rights).
I am planning on
publishing a photo-book that will contain photographer’s rights as pictures, so
that photographers will be able to understand their rights in an easy and
simple way.
The appropriate dress for my presentation would be a formal
dress or other formal attire in order to look professional and presentable to
leave a good first impression.
The important points
to present in my verbal presentation are the issue photographers are having
with their rights, court cases to back up my claim, attempts that have been
made to solve the issue, my solution, and how my photo-book will solve, or
improve the issue with photographer’s rights. Most importantly, it is necessary
for me to emphasize why photographer’s rights are an issue in photography and
how my end-product would not necessarily solve, but improve the issue.
My capstone does not require a brochure because all of my
information will be on my poster and my essay, but it I will consider it. The
brochure could possibly serve as a way to summarize all of the important
information, or as a way to promote my photo-book. The brochure could allow me
to promote my photo-book by explaining why it is important to know photographer’s
rights, and why it’s easier to buy the photo-book rather than having to
research about those rights and having to struggle with understanding them.
I am thinking of
using the internet to spread the word about my book, but I’m unsure if I should
just promote my book on social media websites, or if I should create a website
as well. If I do use the media, I would probably just create an Instagram,
Tumblr, or Twitter and follow people interested in photography to tell them
about my photo-book in order to make my end-product effective. If instead I
decide to make a website, then the website would serve as an informational site
with the research I’ve made for capstone to emphasize why they should buy the
book. It could also serve as a way to provide my audience an electronic copy of
the book for those whom prefer it instead of the hard copy. Aside from
promoting my photo-book, I could also create an animation or video on how
photographers would benefit from purchasing the photo-book.

Assignment 3
My capstone project is a photo book that will explain
photographer’s rights in a simple way in order for them to comprehend and avoid
getting in trouble with the law. I will make my site, video, and print material
persuasive by providing interesting facts regarding photographer’s rights and
making them sound relatable. My presentation will be serious, but I will make
it dramatic to make it more interesting. I will get my audience’s attention by asking an interesting
question, and then providing some interesting facts. I will make the problem
sound dramatic in order to emphasize its importance, and then once I introduce
my solution I will transition to seriousness. Appropriate colours and fonts for
what I’m trying to achieve are probably some dull colours and bold fonts to
emphasize the problem, and then transition to lighter colours when introducing
my solution. Appropriate design layouts, graphics, photographs, and other
imagery would all be informative and serious, but also creative in order to
communicate to the audience that issues regarding photographer’s rights are
important and must be taken seriously. I also want to make them creative to keep
the audience’s attention and make it easier for them to understand.
