My capstone project is a photo book that will explain
photographer’s rights in a simple way in order for them to comprehend and avoid
getting in trouble with the law. I will make my site, video, and print material
persuasive by providing interesting facts regarding photographer’s rights and
making them sound relatable. My presentation will be serious, but I will make
it dramatic to make it more interesting. I will get my audience’s attention by asking an interesting
question, and then providing some interesting facts. I will make the problem
sound dramatic in order to emphasize its importance, and then once I introduce
my solution I will transition to seriousness. Appropriate colours and fonts for
what I’m trying to achieve are probably some dull colours and bold fonts to
emphasize the problem, and then transition to lighter colours when introducing
my solution. Appropriate design layouts, graphics, photographs, and other
imagery would all be informative and serious, but also creative in order to
communicate to the audience that issues regarding photographer’s rights are
important and must be taken seriously. I also want to make them creative to keep
the audience’s attention and make it easier for them to understand.
